Our Purpose
A burn injury can be devastating – physically, emotionally, and financially. The effects impact not only the burn victim, but also the loved ones caring for the patient throughout their healing and recovery process. When facing a burn injury, there is help available.
That is why the Mississippi Burn Foundation exists.
Our services are available to everyone in Mississippi who is suffering from a severe burn, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. We assist patients with:
- Specialized supplies to ensure recovery
- Expenses associated with medications for treatment
- Travel to and from the burn center for treatment
- Travel and meals while a burn victim is hospitalized
- MBF supports all aspects of the healing process
